Yes, I still have a prize bin in middle school. Yes, I believe in intrinsic motivation, but sometimes students (like adults) need a small prize incentive or need to be recognized with something tangible. I rounded up some of my most popular prizes- bonus, they are all available on Amazon!
My guidelines are as follows: nothing that will annoy teachers in other class (a.k.a. bouncy balls and fidget spinners) and cost less than $1 each. Bonus if it doubles as a USEFUL school supply!
